Astro Boy

This week we're talking about Japanese comics and I can't tell you how excited i and about talking about this!!!! Astro Boy has been created multiple times over the years but the very first one happened in 1962 which was the beginning of the term "anime" (well at least to me) during that time period. Astro boy is about a boy and father who are a genius in every way, but do to a freak accident the the father lost his son. So the year after he makes a robot child named "Astro boy". But he doesn't make him a regular robot, he made him into a crime fighting machine!! Soon after if you follow the story line he fights bad guys and monsters! If you haven't seen it already you defiantly should!!!
